Just a couple of quick notes. It was really fun today to go purchase some formula (which has to picked up at a counter because druggie chemists have discovered they can use it for their habit) and tell the girl at the counter I had just brought my baby home today. Well, sort of home, we're out of South Bend and am now in Martinsville, IN while we wait for the Interstate Compact to be signed by IN and KY so that we can go home-home.

Well, I was just watching Burn Notice on USA Network and then flipped over to Cowboy Bebop and noticed a strange likeness, they've got the same setup. Burn Notice has a main character who is a super spy good-guy, a side-kick army dude who feeds the FBI, and a chick who rocks at stuff that blows up real good. They do stuff that helps out those in need and try and figure out why Michael Weston got burned from the FBI.

Cowboy Bebop has a main character who is a free-lance bounty hunter, a side-kick ex-cop bounty hunter, and a chick who rocks at stuff that blows up real good. (Okay, not really, but the team make-up is the same). They go around hunting bounties. The only thing missing from Burn Notice is a super intelligent Corgi and 12 year old hacker that you can't tell if he's a she or a he.

Wow! Check it out, over 3 years since I last made an update here. I think I will try and update more often.

I am currently sitting in a hospital room waiting for my daughter to be born into the world. This is our first baby, but it is an adoption. The baby is breach, but was turned, and then she turned herself back to her original position, so she needed to turned again. Well, after spending all day in the hospital, my mom and I went and toured Notre Dame and had dinner at Fazolis. Noelle decided to stay back, she's both tired and nervous. The contractions have started at about 10:00 pm. I know that for some mothers, babies take a long time to come out; that is, the contractions take a long time. But with the doctor here, having turned the baby and giving her the drugs, I had expected it to take a couple of hours and be done with it. Boy, was I wrong.

More to come later.

I suppose it is time to update this. I haven't done much in the past several days... well, ok, so maybe I have. I finally got the envelopes out. Many of you have seen this. I hope that many of you have found the insert. Well, if you are here, congrats... you found that small slip of paper. (So I made a mistake... it wasn't the first.) It seems I may have made a few mistakes on some of the envelopes. To those I made those mistakes, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to do that. I accidentally sent my roommate 2 cards.

I was able to get a lot of work yesterday and that wore me out more than it should have. Six hours of fighting with viruses, worms, ad software, and computer hijacks. My brain was tired afterword. This normally wouldn't be a problem... darn chemo. Well, I just got a call, so I'm outta here.

What an interesting Sunday. Saturday night I started feeling achy all over and my tonsils were in pain. All from the chemo, of course, but still annoying since I was hoping I wouldn't have this particular side effect. Needless to say, I spent the day at home and mostly in bed. Which, in turn, messed up my sleeping schedule. I spent much of this morning awake (2AM on). I finally took one of my prescription pain pills and it helped a lot.

Noelle, Michelle, Becky (my cousin), and I got about 125 envelopes printed and ready for mailing. This morning my mom and I finished up the rest of the stamps that we had, about 275 more envelopes. The printer held out for us, only ruining a couple of the envelopes. We still have about 50-75 more envelopes to print. I am real impressed with how this particular project has turned out. In fact, I'm feeling quite good about the whole wedding reception preparations. We've kept it low budget without appearing low budget... (uh-oh, I've let the secret out. hehe)

I'm going to work on my cancer page now... or sleep some... I'm not sure which.

Yesterday I finally had my second chemo treatment. It was no fun, of course, but I'm recovering from it quite well this time. I moving around now without much trouble and am preparing the envelopes for wedding announcements. Not much else to report right now.

Today was a pretty decent day of work. I made a decent amount, having worked 3.5 hours on a corporate job for Allen at the Computer Guys. I also finished a 2.5 hour reinstall job.

Tonight was another wonderful night with Noelle. We worked on the website, scanning pictures, et al. Check out Noelle's section. She's got pictures up.

I was having a bit of a problem with one of the pages, so I went seeking help. Of course, one of the numbskulls decided to make a not so nice comment about Noelle. I know she isn't the prettiest girl in the world, but, to me, she is beautiful. I love her.

Well, today I have spent a lot of time and effort on these pages. I hope to get it finished real soon. Then all I will have to update is this page with my daily feelings and goings on.

I intend to add a forum for anyone who wants to comment on stuff, or chat. And I also plan on implementing a guest book. Perhaps I will get to that tonight.

I've also got to teach Noelle how to do this webpage thingy so she can get started on her pages. Wish me luck ;-)
